Getting my tattoo was painful, but it was not as bad as I would have thought. The thing about tattoos is that they are addictive. I've got one, and I'm dying to cover the rest of me in beautiful tattoos! I really wanna get a huge dove, covering my back. I don't know why, but I think it would look amazing. Cash is a major issue though.... Tell me about your tattoo/piercing/body modification dreams? I don't regret getting my tattoo, so I'd say it's a Do. I'm a bit hesitant when it comes to scarifications and implants though... What do you think? Do or Don't?

I got a henna tattoo once it burned my skin dont think il join you somehow..:)
ReplyDeletei got a henna tattoo once too! I loved mine though, probably because it didn't burn my skin and looked really good!
ReplyDeleteI have 2 tattoos. One on my back and one on my wrist. I got both done when I was 17, both because I thought I knew exactly what i wanted, and both to symbolise the same person.
ReplyDeleteAnd they're actually the two of the five biggest regrets I consider to have in my life.
I want to get them covered up, just with more ink. To get them lazered off would cost a years registration, so I'm stuck saving the birthday and Christmas money until I can sort them out.
I think tattoos are beautiful things as well, but definitely things that need a lot of pre meditation and thought.
I put a lot of thinking into my tattoo, and it was important that it meant something to me, not to anyone else, just me. I think tattoos made in tribute to someone else are a really sweet gesture, but I don't know if I would want to put one on my body...
ReplyDeleteIm with Zoldy on that one...First a tattoo was a general no-no in my house, but my first one was actually moms idea.
ReplyDeleteI never every regreted it once, and now i'm where you are Kay, i wanna get MORE! Addictive to say the least!!! xD
Hi KayKay,
ReplyDeleteI love your tattoo. It has been more than 2 years that I have been thinking about getting a tattoo myself. But everytime I thought I knew exactly how it should look like, I printed it out, got it painted on my body and changed my mind after a few days. So far I'm really glad that I didn't get one yet but I still can't stop thinking about it. How long have you been thinking and changing your mind before you were absolutely sure?
I got a necklace with the trinity knot when I was certain and really loved the symbolism of it. (Eternity, it never begins, never ends) So I had the idea around that time, and then when I turned 18 (my mother didn't let me do one before) I when to a tattoer, he sketched it and I liked the simplicity of it. So a few months after that he actually tattoed it on me :)
ReplyDeletethat didn't make much sense :P The first sentence was supposed to say: I got a necklace with the trinity knot when I was 14... :D
ReplyDeleteOk, thats quite a long time to think about it.. Maybe I just give myself some more time to think about it.. Thanks!
