No? Then it's about time to let yourself imagine what it would be like. No one will ever know. Well, now u know that I have entertained the thought.Yes, I've kissed girls (who hasn't??) but never felt the urge to take it any further. It wasn't horrible, but not exactly exciting either. I guess I'm just straight. But, who knows, maybe I just haven't met the right girl yet.
Anyhow, the reason for me discussing this subject is the adventure I had last night! Griffith SU and LGBT arranged a karaoke night at the local pub. I sang (or tried to sing) Lily Allen - Not fair and did a duet with Jboi performing My way. It was epic. I was a bit hesitant at first, should I really sing? I can't sing at all, and after a few Druids and a Guinness my ability to sing in tune disappears completely. But hey, it's entertainment, and I did have alot of fun!

After the karaoke we (Milli, Oboi and I) went to Base Bar on Wicklow street. Thursday nights are Prhomo nights, and the place turns into a gay club. Imagine this: reddish lights and a sexy interior, DJ's playing hitsongs and the bar serving sweet booze. We danced, danced and kept on dancing for hours. Oboi got several offers, but didn't seem very tempted by the men. But, being Oboi he managed to find one of the other few straight girls in the club, well done Oboi! Milli an I focused on the music and danced til our feet bled. It was truly one of those nights you will savour as a crazy, funfilled memory.

So, to sum this up. Don't be scared of the things you haven't tried before, you don't know what to expect until you've tried. Let go of your image, let yourself be free. Make a fool of yourself, it won't kill you. And if you happen to be around Wicklow street on a thursday night, check out the gay club! It's a DO!!
